Modeling & Simulation
At Wyle, I developed 3D software to display simulated data in 3D. Data was obtained from UDP datagram packets and DIS PDUs. The GPS coordinates within these messages were used to render the locations of the simulated entities on a 3D globe using WorldWind.
My work at Wyle has given me a good background in modeling, simulation, and 3D graphics. This included the presentation logic of displaying that data, and the business logic of detecting collisions, calculating distances, and computing angles.
Below is a screenshot of Blender on my Macbook. It shows a 3D model I designed of a Patriot PAC-3 missile.
