At Wyle, my current employer, I develop 3D graphics software that integrates with military systems to display the current locations of aircraft. I will not provide any more information or screenshots due to possible ITAR concerns, However, I can share information on other related projects that I have worked on in my spare time or as school projects.
WorldWind Geo Graph was a school project that I created a couple years ago. The assignment was to create a project that demonstrated the applications of graph theory. I decided to use the WorldWind 3D toolkit that I use at work to make a map of cities within the Huntsville area. Shortest routes between different locations on the map were computed during Dijkstra's algorithm, with the distance between the cities used to weight the graph.
